This white water river in the desert is part of the world’s first desert-based whitewater rafting park, located outside of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is the world’s first whitewater rafting park with a climate-controlled atmosphere, where the temperature and humidity are controlled to the same level as a mountain river, creating the perfect conditions for rafting. The project, known as Wadi Adventure, was designed to bring whitewater thrills to the Middle East. The white water river has rapids from grade 1 to grade 3 and is perfect for experienced and novice rafters alike. In addition to rafting, visitors can also enjoy kite surfing, kayaking, Stand-up paddle boarding, climbing and mountain biking.
