The European Commission has asked Poland to provide “clarifications” about a visa fraud scandal regarding staff at the Embassies of Poland in London and Paris. The Polish Government has been asked to provide information about its investigation into the case and to explain what steps have been taken to ensure that a similar situation does not happen again. The Commission has also asked for information on the protection of diplomatic staff in similar situations.
