The Biden for President campaign announced on Monday that they raised over $71 million during the third quarter of 2020. This is double the amount raised during the same period in 2016, and more than the record $55 million raised by the campaign in the second quarter of 2020. Funds raised for the third quarter came primarily from donor contributions, which totaled $60 million, and online fundraising sources, such as ActBlue, which contributed $8.3 million. This money will likely be used to fund advertising and other campaign-related expenses as the November election draws closer.
