The Whistleblower, Kimberly K. Mclellan, expressed her disappointment in the House Republicans for voting to provide the agency with a new headquarters and additional funding. Mclellan called the House GOP “soulless demons,” emphasizing that she felt their actions were “profoundly ironic” given their quest to strip the agency of its funding and cripple its ability to properly investigate waste and corruption in the government. Mclellan added that she believed it was a “disregard of taxpayer dollars” to allocate additional funds for a new facility without adequately providing the personnel and resources needed to properly do their job.
