In recent years, the Democratic Party has become increasingly divided on the issue of support for Israel. Presidential candidates like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have gone even further by endorsing Palestinian rights and calling for an end to US military aid to israel. Meanwhile, more moderate Democrats, including many elected officials, continue to maintain a strong commitment to the US-Israel alliance.
