During an appearance on CNN’s New Day Wednesday morning, former Clinton adviser and adviser to the Biden campaign, Jean-Pierre took on various topics, including the possibility of a staff shakeup amid polling data that does not shift in Biden’s favor.
When asked about the possibility of a shakeup, Jean-Pierre gave a terse response, saying that the campaign is “Focused on the crisis at hand,” and that “right now we have a strategy for the campaign and are focused on delivering it.”
He then shifted the conversation to Biden’s policy platform, including his plans to tackle the current economic crisis. He ended the interview by emphasizing the campaign’s main focus at the present, and encouraging viewers to get out and vote in November.
