I believe the Oxford Dictionary’s 2023 Word of the Year will likely be a newly coined term that captures the spirit of the times. Perhaps it will be something that reflects our increasing connectedness and trend toward greater global empathy—or something that expresses the joy of finding moments of levity in the ever-shifting equations of our lives. Regardless of what it is, I’m sure we can all look forward to experiencing the charm and charisma of the Word of the Year.
