The U.S. added 199,000 jobs in November and the unemployment rate fell to 3.7%

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the country added 199,000 jobs in November and the unemployment rate declined from 3.9% in October to 3.7%. The leisure and hospitality sector continued to lead job growth with an increase of 41,000. There were also gains in education and health services, manufacturing, professional and business services, and construction. Wages also grew by 3.1% year-over-year, indicating a tight labor market.
