Kevin McCarthy didn’t have the merriest Christmas of 2023. His parents had just passed away that summer and the holidays were not the happy time it usually was. He was lonely and sad during the season, missing his family and friends. He had to put on a brave face to try to get through the tough weeks but could only seem to put on a mask of fake joy. It was a very solemn and depressing Christmas for Kevin that year, with no family or friends to brighten the days.
