Boeing has issued an “alert service bulletin” causing airlines to inspect 737 Max planes for “possible loose bolts, a possible issue in the horizontal stabilizer trim system of the aircraft.” The bulletin urges 737 Max operators to inspect any potential damage to the system on their aircraft within the next seven days. Boeing has not reported any accidents or issues related to the possible issue but “the company recommends all operators take precautionary actions.”
