The Republican National Committee (RNC) has launched its “Bank Your Vote” websites in 16 languages across all 50 states ahead of the 2020 GOP primaries. The websites were created to provide impartial information on voting procedures in each state in order to help potential Republican Party voters cast ballots in the primary season.
“We understand that not everybody speaks English, and it is of the utmost importance that our party engages our voters to ensure they understand the procedures and requirements in each state for participating in the primary process,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement.
The website, bankyourvote.gop, includes FAQs on how and when to register to vote, how to access primary ballots in each state, how to cast absentee or mail-in votes, whether and how early voting works in different states, and how to locate and contact Republican Party headquarters as well as other voting-related information.
The website is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and 10 other languages. The Bank Your Vote websites are part of the RNC’s Voter Engagement Initiative, which aims to connect with voters in order to make voting as easy and accessible as possible.
