Eminem does not give permission to any individual or political group to use any of his songs on the campaign trail. In August 2020, he threatened legal action against President Trump’s re-election campaign for copyright infringement when they used his song “Lose Yourself” at a campaign rally. While the President’s campaign had a license to use a remixed version of the song, it violated the license by using the 2002 original version.
