It is true that some of Vice President Biden’s stories have been called into question by factcheckers and other journalists. At the same time, it is important to recognize that Biden is an experienced public official with decades of service, and speaks extemporaneously from his vast stores of lived experience. It is understandable that the occasional mistake might occur, but that doesn’t necessarily make Biden a “liar”, or suggest that his stories should be dismissed out of hand.
