In September 2019, the United States team won back-to-back Walker Cup titles after defeating the Great Britain and Ireland team at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club in England. The biennial match consists of four foursomes and eight singles matches between the two teams and is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the world. Led by captain Nathaniel Crosby, the U.S. Team finished the singles matches with a 15-3 victory to earn their first consecutive Walker Cup victories since 1995.
