Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) responded to President Donald Trump’s criticism of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling it “terrible” and “not helpful.”
Speaking on Fox News, Scott said, “I think the comments were terrible and not helpful. The fact of the matter is, for decades now, America and Israel have taken important steps in security agreements that ensure the security of the state of Israel [and] allow them to be a beacon of hope throughout that region. To have our president comment in the way he did was terribly unhelpful.”
