MS. JEN PSAKI, STATE DEPARTMENT SPOKESPERSON: We have long had an important relationship with Qatar. We continue to look for ways to engage with, both government officials and civil society groups who can contribute to finding a pathway to peace and stability in the Middle East. We remain firmly committed to Qatar working to combat terrorism and terrorist financing, and we expect them to continue to take all necessary steps to do so. We also expect Qatar to continue to counter al-Qa’ida, ISIS, and other extremist groups in the region.
