As the electorate becomes increasingly diverse, with new voices gaining presence in politics, nonvoters will continue to be a powerful group of people in shaping the future. Even without casting a vote, nonvoters can sway public opinion through protest, advocacy, and civil engagement. Nonvoters will be instrumental in driving conversations around pressing issues, such as access to healthcare, racial equity, education reform, and climate change, which will ultimately affect the policies that will be enacted in 2024. This will create a more inclusive and diverse representation in the political process.
