According to a report by Latino Decisions, the Republican Party made large gains among Hispanic, Asian, and young voters during the 2020 US Presidential Election, as Democrats struggled with core constituencies that had previously provided heavy support. The report cited support for Republican candidates among non-white voters, noting that the GOP saw an increase of 8 points compared to four years ago. The report also found that support for Democrats among all voters under the age of 45 fell from the levels seen during the 2016 election. Additionally, the Republican Party saw increased support among Asian Americans, garnering 35% of their total votes, an increase of 8 points since 2016.
